The Idea Farm #7 – ETF Report

Below is our seventh issue of The Idea Farm Weekly!  If you are enjoying the emails please feel free to pass along to your friends and colleagues.

After polling readers, 75% of you requested sending the emails “whenever I found something interesting” (but no more than 2 or 3 per week) instead of just on Sunday.  We are going to try that for a bit to see how it works out.  On to the new issue below.

I just attended an Index Universe Fixed Income conference in Newport, and as always it was well done.  There was a solid lineup headlined by Rob Arnott and Bill Gross.

In addition to their website and conferences, Index Universe puts out two publications – The Journal of Indexes (free to $50) and the ETF Report ($250 to $299).  I picked up a hard copy of the ETF Report, which they just rebranded, and it is solid.  They have an intial sample issue available online and it is worth a look.
